Beeswax Candle

Handmade on the farm, our candles are made from 100% West Australian beeswax and cotton wicks.  Candles made with foundation sheets feature the hexagonal, honeycomb shape the bees use for raising brood and storing honey and pollen

Beeswax candles burn much slower than paraffin, and are smokeless and non-drip, with a clean, steady flame.  

Dimensions:  As candles are hand made, sizes and colours may vary slightly.

For the best experience, please follow these candle care and safety instructions. 

• Secure candle in a holder before lighting, e.g. melt wax and stick to base
• Ensure candle is vertical for best burning.
• Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep candles out of reach of kids and animals
• Keep candles away from flammable materials
• Burn candles in a draught free environment to prevent smoke and drips
  
• Trim wick to ~6-8mm before every use for a good flame
• A snuffer (or teaspoon) is recommended to extinguish your candle.

You should create a melt pool to the edge when lighting your candle the first time. Depending on the size of the candle it may take up to 3 hours. This will affect the longevity and prevent tunnelling. Candles should not be burned for more then ~3  hours at a time
