Skin for little ones

Simple for small skin

Children should not need a shelf of products or an ingredient list you can't pronounce.   Because they are small, the surface area of their skin compared to their organs is much bigger. (They are granulated sugar and adults are sugar cubes.)

They need a skin wash that does not strip, and a simple balm for the days when lips are chapped or cheeks are windburnt.

Gentle and simple for the win

A mild soap and a balm made from a short list of plant oils and beeswax, with nothing synthetic added, is all most small people need.

Three hero ingredients

Every product, from the cleanser to the balm, is built on three simple things, because skin does better with less, whatever its age.

Fresh goats milk

Milked on our farm and the first ingredient in our soaps and cleansers. It is a mild, creamy base that leaves skin feeling soft rather than tight, and we know every goat it came from.

Local olive oil

From olives harvested once a year in the Margaret River Region. Rich in natural fats your skin recognises is why it sits so well in a balm or a serum for drier skin.

Beeswax from Brad’s hives

Harvested from our own hives with the honey. Beeswax helps seal in the moisture and prevents dehydration from evaporation. No water, no preservatives.

Simple does not have to mean expensive

Skincare does not need twelve steps, lots of chemicals, or lots of money.

Three simple products will do more than a bathroom cabinet full of half-used jars.

Because we sell direct from the farm, with no middlemen, our range costs considerably less than most natural skincare, and you are paying for what is in the product rather than the packaging around it.

A note for parents

Our products are made from simple plant oils, but every child’s skin is different. Please try a small amount on a small area first, and check the ingredients for anything your child reacts to. Our soap and balms contain olive and coconut oil, and CHACHI is infused with chamomile and chickweed.

If your child has a skin condition, or you are unsure about anything, please ask your doctor or pharmacist before trying something new.

Why we call it SLOW skincare

You cannot hurry a goat, an olive or a herb garden. The pace is in the ingredients, and in the way we make it.

Goats run the farm

Our kids are dam raised so mum has to wean her kids before we can start milking. Our milk follows the rhythm of the farm, and our farm follows the rhythm of the goats.

Olives, once a year

The olives are harvested once a year, so the oil in your balm comes from a single season of growing and waiting.

Herbs, grown here

The herbs we infuse are grown on the farm, picked when they are ready and made in small batches, so what reaches you is fresh.

Used by real people, in real homes

Our products do not live only on bathroom shelves. They turn up in handbags, kitchen drawers, nappy bags and gardening sheds, and they get used by the whole family.

Really quick delivery, lovely business, no nasties. Our family has been buying products from Capricopia for a while now and loves it.

Jemma, on the ACOBECO balm

First time buying the handmade goat soap and I love it. I’ll be back for more.

Jodie Thompson, on the liquid soap

This has been such a good all rounder.

Ebony, Melbourne, on the ACOBECO balm

Everything we sell comes from a working farm, not a factory.

It is made by hand, in small batches, by the same person who milks the goats.

From our farm to your door.
